Our Bar team have applied their passion and knowledge, to curate an extensive wine, spirit & cocktail list, perfect for those seeking to indulge in a pre-dinner cocktail or taste your way through our wine list.

Much like our menu, the Skyring’s cocktail list changes and evolves to the season, with the team indulging their curiosity to explore different ways to make use of local and regional seasonal fruits, spices & aromatics.

The Name.

Skyring’s was named after the original occupier of the address, Dr Doris Skyring.

 98 Victoria parade was designed in the 1920’s by Brisbane architect Karl Langer as a home and surgery for Dr Skyring. In the late 1950’s well known local hoteliers Charles and Jessica Bloxsom purchased it as a home, but in 1970 turned it into a restaurant, eventually selling the business in 1980 when the current motel complex was added. The restaurant has been known as one of the best in Queensland for nearly 45years.
